It's all here in this lovely, hand -made straw, travel hat.
If you have never worn a parasisal straw, you must be warned that they are so light and cool that you hardly know you are wearing a hat. This straw is hand woven and it takes an experienced weaver 5-7 days to weave it before I can turn it into a hat. This weaving skill is disappearing and a hat of this quality will be hard to find again.
This hat is elegant and chic in a hand-dyed seagreen/aqua color. The color changes with the light and it will give your face a soft glow. The outer brim is plain. The optional tie is made of handdyed silk ribbon with mini-flowers at the tips.
Brim on this one is 4" from the base of the crown, wider that most of my travelers. Crown measures about 9.5" in diameter
This hat folds nearly flat so it will fit into your carry on.
Because this is a travel hat there is no structured head size band. So it will fit head sizes from 22 to 23.5". The ever-so- slender matching silk tie that allows you to adjust the size for comfort.
