This one is exceptional.
It was fashioned from fine, hand-woven, parasisal straw. The straw is so light that you hardly know you are wearing a hat. This straw was hand woven in Asia and took an experienced weaver at least five days just to weave the straw. When it arrives in my shop, I convert what looks like a bucket into a hat.
This travel hat has an upper crown circumference of 9.5 " and a brim width of 3.5 ", rather than the usual 3. So if you want a versatile, light-weight, go-everywhere hat, this is it.
You can see in the photos that it folds flat for easy storage and travel.
This is a soft pink, light but leaning just slightly towards coral. It is finished with an adjustable band made of vintage velvet ribbon in the same hue but a shade darker.
Head size on this is 22 -23".
