Hand blocked, hand sewn of the finest materials this hat will knock your socks off. The crown is shaped in a mid 20th century style called a profile. Part of it is lowered and curved. In order to achieve this look the hat is blocked in two parts and then sewn together. The brim is wired and covered with petersham ribbon. The trim continues the retro theme with a bit of felt, a vintage hair plume and an old - probably 1940's - mother of pearl button.
It is stunning.
The crown of the hat measures 4.5" from the top of the brim on the high side. It is 3" from brim to top of crown on the low side. The brim itself is 3" wide in front and 2.25" in the back.
It will fit head sizes 22.25 to 22.50. I can reduce the head size to 22" is that is what you need. There is not charge for this alteration.
